Morellino Wine Farm

The Morellino Wine farm is a charming place for nature lovers with a taste for perfumes, colours and flavours, between Tuscan hills and the sea. Guests are welcomed among renovated farmhouses, a well-kept lawn and a swimming pool with a marvellous mosaic and by the smell of aromatic plants and flowers. The inn has a splendid view over the valley of the Albegna river; when the sky is particularly clean you can see the profile of the Monte Argentario by the coast. It is elegantly furnished with special care for details: walls have different colours in all rooms and authentic ancient furniture and bathrooms are covered with travertine marble.

This is an exclusive destination for anyone willing to enjoy terrific cooking, the Baths of Saturnia, the exclusive Golf courses and riding grounds, trips to the natural reserve of Alberese, Porto Santo Stefano, Porto Ercole and the sites of Pitigliano and Sovana. But with a short distance you will also reach Grosseto, the wine territory of Montecucco Doc and Brunello di Montalcino docg, you can also take a day trip to Siena if desired. 

The owners have an ambitious plan, but not impossible. They want to be representatives of our land around the world, because this land can give a lot to the world, starting from the great wines it offers to the ones who understand it. When people mention one of our most important Tuscan wine; Morellino di Scansano, they refer to culture and quality. 

The wine farm has 5 rooms and one suite within the three different country cottages that make the farmhouse holiday.
Each room is spacious and comfortable with facilities like free wi-fi, mini bar, television, phone, hi-fi, air conditioned, safe, hair dryer, toiletries.
Special care is given to details, like antique furniture, wood floors, tiles and travertine marble. 

The Wine shop and Tasting Room has been created for guests wishing to learn more about the wines produced by the in our territory. It reminds of a typical Tuscan sitting room, with couches, a fireplace and antique furniture’s. A large display of wines, extra virgin olive oil and Morellino Grappa are available for tasting. The bar is always open offering you both wine from the farm, but also soft drinks, espresso or cappuccino. 

The large swimming pool is available 24h a day to relax and enjoy the view, night and day. Beautiful views, garden spaces, vineyards and olive groves under the Tuscan sun, with a good glass of wine… of course.
