In this wonderful place among the splendid Tuscan hills, since the pre-roman age people were cultivating olives and grapes to produce olive oil and, of course, wine. So nowadays, from these very old traditions, come the fine extra virgin olive oil that Wine Farm Leonardo is still producing and one of the most tasting dessert wine of the region.

A rustic restaurant is at disposal of the guest with a typical panoramic veranda offering a great view on the nearby city of Florence. Beside the courtyard, that is also available for open air activities or various genre of group meal, there are a cotto tile terrace with its “hidden” rose garden full of blooming colored roses.

In a very short hour it is possible to reach two of the most fascinating historical and artistic Tuscan towns: Siena and Florence. Between them the famous hamlets of San Gimignano with its fourteen fortified towers and Monteriggioni with its perfectly preserved city walls. Leonardo da Vinci’s home village is close too, as other historical and beautiful Tuscan towns like Pistoia and Lucca where Taste of Tuscany can arrange on request day excursions, bike tours, guided visits to art gardens or museum and much more
