Wine Farm Colle

If you dream of a romantic Italian wedding in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, then wine farm colle could be the venue for you.  A private luxury medieval village, with a dominant position overlooking the Orcia and Maremma valley, situated right in the southern part the Orcia alley, chosen by the Unesco, between Montalcino and the Tuscan cost and Siena. This venue is your getaway in the heart of Tuscany, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.

Hospitality couples with an environment where clarity of mind and food for the soul are abundant. The land is not only stunningly beautiful but also rich and fertile, providing a bounty of biodynamic vegetables, herbs and honey, which the kitchen transforms into culinary delights.

There are 4 venues by the foot of the owner’s castle, for the wedding arrangement we use wine farm colle, but we can host more guests also at the 3 nearby villas. One in the country side with panoramic views, private pool and garden, another one in the Castle dependence also with pool, and the last one in the village.  

At the wine farm there are 12 apartments of different size, composed by double rooms, bathroom with shower, living room and kitchenette. There are also 10 other rooms of suites type, with living room and private bathroom and junior suites with shared lounge. Every apartment is equipped with TV, Wi-Fi and kettle with tea and coffee set. There is also a billiard room, a fitness room, a massage room and a fully equipped Turkish bath to complete a unique environment.

The venue is a typical example of a restored Tuscan farm: a group of stone buildings and its country villa form the old village of the Tenuta with the St. Peter Abbot Church in the centre. The historical cellar from 1300 and the jars dating back to 1600 tell the story of the products that you can savor at the tasting room or in the restaurant.

The venue, overlooking the valley with its castles and hamlets, well known for the production of Montecucco doc and Brunello di Montalcino docg wines. 360 ° panoramic view, extending from the mountain Amiata to the sea.

The olive groves and slender cypress will meet you on the way to the small church and the main house of the hamlet. The natural landscape provides a wonderful and romantic setting for your wedding; “a green oasis” where it seems that everything groves wealthy in the valleys fertile earth. In the middle of nature, you will find viewpoints, be surrounded by plants, herbs and flowers in the large garden by the panoramic swimming pool, despite being only a few kilometres away from villages and cities of great history and charm.

Say your vows in the church settled on the main square of the venue, or in the garden with amazing panoramic views!

After the ceremony you and your guests will proceed to the garden for reception drinks before heading by torchlight to the terrace where you will enjoy a delicious meal and the wines produced here.

The culinary garden lies at the heart of the venue to plate' philosophy, where the chefs design their plates from the source in collaboration with the culinary gardeners and local farmers. Only organic food is used in the delicious menus.

Located in a central position, from the wine farm you have excellent opportunities for excursions:  from the main cities of Siena and and Florence, to smaller centres of cultural interest, like Montalcino, Santa Fiora, and the beautiful coastline just with a short drive.  Not to mention the endless possibilities offered by the surrounding hills with their picturesque landscapes and gastronomic itineraries.
