Wine farm Chianti

Say “I do” at the vineyard overlooking the countryside is just magical from this wine farm situated on the top of a hill in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, between Florence and Siena.

The borgo and wine farm dates back to the eleventh century and was in the middle age a feudal agricultural centre dedicated to the production of olive oil and wine, with its popular products on the local market in the town of Greve. You can still recognize the old hamlet’s structure: the landlord’s villa with its Italian garden, the peasants' houses that surround the little square, the small church, the old warehouse and historic wine cellar; fascinating!

You can visit the historical (1000 years old) cellars one of the best collections of Tuscan red wines, Chianti Classico DOCG, Reserve, olive oil and grappa together with pinot grigio, pinot noir, chardonnay, prosecco, Raboso and Agricanto from the seals located in the areas most favourable to viticulture in northern Italy where the owners also produce wine. 

In this exclusive location in Tuscany it is possible to celebrate your big day in the atmosphere of a real medieval Borgo. 

Nowadays the hamlet has 16 rooms in the main villa (9 rooms and 5 apartments) and 30 rooms in the borgo rustic houses (13 rooms and 7 apartments) with 46 rooms in total with possible extra beds. You can choose to use the main villa for the arrangement with private garden and terrace or all the venue in exclusively.

Guests can relax by the panoramic pool or in a garden’s corner enjoying a beautiful view to the countryside and vineyards. The wine tasting in the ancient cellar is a must, before the Rehearsal dinner/Tuscan night. During this evening the guest can try out their own pizza together with our pizzaiolo using the original wood-burning pizza oven. 

The restaurant is in the old oil mill house. The complex of arches and wooden beams together with their original materials made up an informal but, at same time a warm ambiance. Your meals will be enriched by the courtesy of the service and the quality of food from the Tuscan tradition. 

Located in a central position, from the farm you have excellent opportunities for excursions:  from the main cities of Florence, Siena and Arezzo, to smaller centers of cultural interest, like Castellina in Chianti, Greve, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano and Volterra.
