The hamlet was born around a castle and a church, the first one is no more existing after centuries of sieges and fights between the two enemies republics of Siena and Florence, the second one is still existing and is the flagship of Old Stone Hamlet.

Old Stone Hamlet offers to its guest 8 rooms and 15 apartments. Inside the large manor house, 8 exclusive rooms are available for those who want to stay in this cross-section of authentic Tuscan style. The rooms are located on the first floor of the villa and accessible by a flight of stairs and are composed by different types of rooms.

Some old watchtowers, an old school and numerous other old buildings in the venue have been recovered to create 15 splendid apartments. Carefully furnished rooms in country-chic style surrounded by nature where you can breathe the authentic atmosphere of Chianti. The small, medium or large apartments of Old Stone Hamlet are open, versatile and functional solutions characterized by the desire to create a dialogue between the inside and the outside evoking the colors of nature.

During the day the space of the cellars of the venue, a fascinating environment thanks to the old barrels that decorate it, is truly versatile: in the morning excellent breakfasts are served, while in the afternoon or just before dinner are organized appreciated tastings wine and cheese. At Old Stone Hamlet also has a panoramic barbecue area available to all customers while for the bigger dinners the catering will give you the possibility to eat inside the beautiful structures of the hamlet.

From Old Stone Hamlet you will reach easily the other Chianti’s destinations like Castellina, Greve or Panzano, or cities like Siena and Florence. Other beautiful destinations like San Gimignano, Certaldo and Monteriggioni are not so far. For the trekking lovers the Chianti’s hills are full of path among vineyards and woods, without forget the large numbers of cellars where tasting the famous Chianti Classico wine.
