The renaissance villa, situated on a hill in the valley Val d’Arno between the Chianti hills and the city of Poppi, overlooking a small medieval village in a beautiful nature environment. 25 minutes from the center of Florence in the most authentic part of Chianti, with the most amazing surroundings. It’s easy to go to by train and the villa offers pick-up service from the village.

The villa suites both for small and large arrangement due to its outdoor and indoor facilities. 

In the 13th century, it was a monastery and then extended during the 18th century to the villa you will see today.

The place appears to be an “architectural patchwork” with its medieval cloister, the Rococo Chapel, the renaissance and baroque rooms.

The courtyard will be available for your ceremony, as well as 1 hall/restaurant and garden for meals/wedding reception and party (always 2 alternatives according to weather and temperatures)

For example. Using the villa or monastery’s courtyard for a rehearsal dinner the owners are free to use the restaurant / garden for other guests. On your big day aperitif and canapés will be served at the panoramic view point in front of the villa. 

The main villa and the parks dependences has 65 rooms, suites and apartments all with private bathrooms. 

 Large garden and several garden spaces, swimming pool, restaurant and bar, library, - meeting and lounge rooms.

The chef provides a refined menu with traditional Tuscan recipes, though, elaborated with a contemporary style. He only uses high quality ingredients produced on the villa or supplied by local producers of the territory. 

The beauty of the villa is completed by the garden that surrounds it.

We recommend a visit of the arboretum (botanical wood garden) just within a short walk from the villa offering both local and non-native plants, an ideal place for nature lovers and of course for your pictures on the big day! 

Located in a central position, from the villa you have excellent opportunities for excursions:  from the main cities of Florence, Siena and Arezzo, to smaller centres of cultural interest, like Castellina in Chianti, Greve, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano and Volterra. Not to mention the possibilities offered by the surrounding hills with their picturesque landscapes and gastronomic itineraries. For shopping lovers; some of the most important outlets are located in close proximity, such as the Mall and Prada.
