Villa Chianti

Halfway between Florence and Siena, Villa Chianti stretches for over 250 hectares on the hills of the Chianti Classico and rises in a landscape surrounded by greenery, among woods, vineyards and ancient villages scattered on the surrounding hills.

The distinctive 14th century Villa surrounded by structured Renaissance gardens and terraces overlooking the scenic rolling hills are part of the signaturelook. Vineyards and olive groves are more than their core activity with over 65 hectares of vineyards in production.

Getting married at Villa Chianti means a direct involvement in the day to day life of the estate; we really recommend our couples and guests to visit the wine cellar, join a guided tour of the estate, taste the wine and olive oil and discover the hidden secrets of the lush valley and medieval towns.

The estate offers different types of accommodation in the rooms of the beautiful Renaissance villa and the surrounding farmhouses, recently renovated. To these were added private country villas surrounded by greenery.

Nestled on the hills where rivers and rivers are born, between cypresses and streams, Villa Chianti offers a high-level hospitality with rooms, apartments and suites, located in the farmhouses and in the Renaissance villa. The farmhouses are located a few steps from the villa that is the heart of the estate, a Renaissance casket that develops around the romantic inner courtyard, surrounded by beautiful Italian gardens that are located between the woods and rows of cypress trees.

Say “I do” within the beautifully manicured Renaissance Gardens facing the Villa for a classical setting or other corners of the garden. In case of poor weather, the Historical wine cellars is the option. 

You can choose a semi exclusive use of the venue or use all rooms. Please not due to winemaking and agricultural operations cannot be fully halted at any time: the vineyards need to be taken care of all year round and they have frequent visits of various representatives, customers & visitors for wine tasting; the restaurant is open to the public for lunch and dinner.

The wedding reception in the garden with a marquee, the terrace facing the historical cellar or the renaissance garden.

For meals indoor for groups up to 70 guests will take place at the restaurant caso with exclusive use. 

The Restaurant is committed to use products locally grown or produced, carefully selected raw materials, seasonal vegetables and exceptional meats are the basis of all preparation.

Located in a central position, from the farm you have excellent opportunities for excursions:  from the main cities of Florence, Siena and Arezzo, to smaller centres of cultural interest, like Castellina in Chianti, Greve, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano and Volterra. Not to mention the possibilities offered by the surrounding hills with their picturesque landscapes and gastronomic itineraries.
