Here you will find an ancient and extraordinary 12 th century Romanesque church with frescoes where you can celebrate your wedding with the hills and the vineyards of Orvieto as your only witness, or in the town hall for civil marriage in beautiful Oriveto. 

From the careful restoration of architectural restoration of the Benedictine abbey of 1100 has been created the hotel that welcomes the quiet of guests, but only few minutes from the center of Orvieto with its medieval wonders. The rooms have different characteristics and peculiarities, are furnished in classic style, with some antique furniture.

The 22 rooms and 5 suites of the hotel overlook the courtyards of the ancient abbey, the spacious park, and the hills clothed in olive trees and rows of grapevines with the tufa plateau and its majestic Cathedral rising up in the background. The Restaurant blends the freshest local ingredients and the chef's creativity into an incomparable culinary experience, such as the taste of salami made with game, spicy local cheeses and all the traditional Umbrian dishes.

The emerald green extra virgin olive oil is produced by cold-pressed olives from the owner’s estates. The aromatic and strong vinegar comes from the full-bodied wines of the Orvieto area.

The deep-red wine is extremely full-bodied and a perfect complement for venison and the local renowned meats.

The white wine is the Orvieto Classico, made with procanico, verdello, grechetto, drupeggio and malvasia grapes.

The Old Abbey has a strategic geographical position, from which it is possible to make excursions in nature, visit archaeological sites and neighboring cities of art, take part in tastings and events in the renowned wine cellars and mills of the best agricultural tradition, easily reach the Thermal Baths. Florence is two hours away, Rome an hour and a half. Siena is an hour and a half and within an hour Montalcino, Montepulciano and Pienza. Half an hour Civita di Bagnoregio and Lake Bolsena.
