Tenuta Terra

Tenuta Terra is a late 19th century farmhouse standing on a hilltop overlooking the Ombrone Valley, with views at the holy Mount Amiata, vineyards and olive groves. This area is particularly famous for its wines like Brunello di Montalcino and Montecucco both qualified as DOCG wines. Encircled by the wonderful landscape of the Alta Maremma, Tenuta Terra has large, well-tended gardens with a stunning swimming pool, lounges with vaulted ceilings and not least a full-equipped Gym. 

At Tenuta Terra you can say "I do" in the beautiful garden or in the olive grove, followed by aperitif at the poolside and wedding dinner in the garden. There is also a very nice internal hall in typical Tuscan style for indoor dinner and party.

The Tenuta has 15 spacious bedrooms and 1 apartment, all named after flowers or birds. Every room has a panoramic view, a private bathroom (with shower, hairdryer and complimentary olive oil- courtesy kit), direct telephone line allowing Internet access if required, satellite TV and mini-bar. Some rooms also have air-conditioning.

Just 2 km from the venue we have additional 15 rooms at a B&B with large pool and garden (using this shuttle is included).

On guest’s disposal a fully equipped gym, a superb pool (10m x 10m), children's playground and a selection of games (table tennis, bowls, archery). Tuscan Riviera, Montalcino, Grosseto and Siena can be reached easily from this venue and in within 1 hour. 

For those who enjoy countryside activities, the surrounding woods and paths provide plenty of opportunities for hiking and biking. Nearby attractions such as tennis, horse riding, canoeing on the Ombrone, lake fishing, hunting on a reserve, visits wine cellars and many other opportunities can be a good point for a daily excursion with your guests. 

Grosseto is only 20 minutes by car where you also can reach the splendid Costa d'Argento (Silver Coast) with a 30-minute drive. This cost line stretches from Punta Ala, by way of Castiglione della Pescaia, Marina di Grosseto and Principina a Mare, all the way to Talamone, Orbetello and Mount Argentario. Why not take a boat trip to the islands of Giglio, Giannutri or Montecristo? 

Siena is only a 35 minutes’ drive, discover the beauty of one of Europe’s best kept medieval cities. 

Our guests will enjoy typical Tuscany dishes (also vegetarian), cooked for them. The philosophy of this location is “A plunge in middle-ages, between history, nature and wellness”.
