La Pieve

La Pieve is an organic farm, located in the charming Tuscany countryside, between Siena and Grosseto. On a hilltop, overlooking the valley known for the wine production of Brunello di Montalcino DOCG. If you dream of a romantic country style Italian wedding, then this could be the venue for you. With a short drive you will reach the hot natural springs, the beautiful and impressive San Galgano church, and the medieval villages of the area.

It is an ancient and evocative medieval village, in the middle of an uncontaminated Natural Oasis, adjacent to the old open-air hot springs. It is surrounded by a 1200 hectares ground, where olive trees, chestnut trees, cork oaks, elms and brooms grow, and Maremma cows, horses and deers live in freedom. The evocative stone structure of the hamlet with farm houses bring you into a medieval village. The apartments and rooms are in rustic and simple style. Here body and soul can restore, in close contact with nature, but with a short drive you reach Tuscany’s beautiful towns.

At tLa Pieve you can say "I do" in the fascinating and beautiful church from the 1300-century, or the ceremony can take place in the garden with panoramic views to the valley, followed by aperitif by the pool and wedding dinner in the square or monastery.

The trattoria offers traditional dishes, from their own biological production and typical Tuscany products, always according to the season. They produce olive oil (from over 1500 olive trees), maremman meat, honey from different flowers and fresh season vegetables from the garden, and rare and precious fruits and seasoning herbs.

Our guests will enjoy typical Tuscany dishes (also vegetarian), cooked for them. The philosophy of this location is “A plunge in middle-ages, between history, nature and wellness”. Our guests will rediscover the pleasure of family and friendly chatting and discover the wonder of stars far from city lights.
