A fairy-tale wedding with 1000 years of story!

Caste Vale is only 30 minutes by car from Arezzo, and one hour by car from Florence, Siena, Cortona, Perugia and the Chianti region

At the castle you can say "I do" in the fascinating and beautiful church, or the ceremony can take place in the garden, followed by aperitif and wedding dinner at the restaurant (indoor or outdoor). 

Located on the rolling hills of Tuscany, the castle is a fortified village dating back to the 1200`s, only a few km from Arezzo, at the border to the Chianti region.

The earliest records of the castle dates back to 1150, which mentioned a fortified castle along the road from Arezzo to Siena, other records mention when Dante Alighieri spent a period here during his exile in 1303. In the XV century, the Castle was known as a village, dedicating its production in wood as well as wool. 

Entering the castles wall, you will see that it is as a small village, a square, a tower, a water well, small lanes, and medieval houses with gardens. The houses, now rooms and apartments, has maintained the names of the original artisans; the tailor, the janitor, the blacksmith to mention some of them. 

Nowadays it has 13 double rooms with private bathroom and 15 apartments in separate villas with a total of 45 double rooms with possibility for extra beds. 

In the lower part of the castle, an old olive press and corn cellar are transformed in meeting room, bar, restaurant and common areas, which have skilfully maintained the authentic character of the original antique village. Around the castle there is a scenic forests, vineyards and olive groves. 

The main restaurant is located just outside the castle’s walls, near the swimming pool. The setting is truly something for itself; an indoor dining hall housed on an old warehouse with an outdoor terrace. 

The cuisine is traditional Tuscan, made of simple ingredients that the chef personally chooses among the season proposal. You will enjoy homemade pasta, Chianina meat and the Sangiovese wines from the territory such as Chianti Classico, Chianti Colli Senesi, Brunello di Montalcino and Nobile di Montepulciano.
