It is true that the places where getting married in Tuscany are not lacking. It seems that every corner keeps the beauty of earth and stone and that you can feel a kind of romanticism everywhere, all around this marvellous region.

The castle is at the crossroads of three beautiful regions, Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio; dominating an ancient village of 200 inhabitants from the top of a hill, being part of the central square overlooking the surrounding countryside with its olive groves and vineyards. The Castle is in short distance to the Etruscan city Orvieto, the village Bagnoregio and Viterbo, lake Bolsena, nature and renaissance parks and hot springs.

The landlord of the castle is a duke from a well-known and ancient noble family of Rome. He has managed to restore and protect the castle's history and details, decorations and frescoes both in the halls and suites. Below the castle walls, you will find a "secret garden" in Renaissance style with fountains, small fish ponds and hedge mazes, a swimming pool with view to the valley. 

Walking the narrow streets leading to the castle it seems to take a step back in time; a fascinating majestic building full of history, a church, the medieval armory room with its vaults, the noble room with frescoed ceiling, the furniture and paintings from the eighteenth century. The castles’ 23 suites/apartments and rooms are decorated in an elegant style, with unique antique pieces, a total of 25 double / twin rooms (23 bathrooms) with possible extra beds. 

Just outside the castle wall additional 6 apartments, and with a short shuttle additional 15 rooms in villa with pool and garden. 

An authentic land, which has remained intact through the centuries, unknown as it is both to urbanization and to mass tourism. On these lands, farmers have continued to grow traditional products of Tuscan agriculture according to the ancient rhythms and traditions.

Located in a central position, from the castle you have excellent opportunities for excursions:  the city of Oriveto, the Bolsano lake, to smaller centres of cultural interest, like Bagnoreggio, Viterbo, Perugia and others. Not to mention the possibilities offered by the surrounding hills with their picturesque landscapes and gastronomic itineraries.
