Casa Tonda sul Mare

Casa Tonda sul Mare is perched on the cliffs of the Etruscan Coast with direct access to the public beach. The round structure of the building maximizes the incredible sea views and allows each room to have its private balcony. Set amongst a lush Mediterranean garden, the panoramic sun terrace is equipped with sun beds and parasols and offers great views of the sea, a medieval fortress and some islands off the coast.

At the villa you can say "I do" at the terrace overlooking the blue horizon all the way to Monte Argentario!

The high-quality ingredients provided by local producers of the territory, are used for all the meals respecting the typical flavours of the local cuisine.

All 25 rooms are furnished with simple light wood furniture and each balcony is equipped with a table and chairs to enjoy quality time and views in comfort. Each room has en suite bathrooms and free Wi-Fi.

Other services included are the tennis court free of charge as well as free parking on the premises.

The nearest beaches are less than 100 meters away right below the cliff where the Casa Tonda is situated. They are two small beaches of sand and rocks, available to the public as well and equipped with changing rooms and umbrellas and sunbeds. The most famous beaches of the are in the immediate vicinity and the charming towns such as Porto Santo Stefano, Porto Ercole is within easy reach. From here we can recommend a boat trip to the beautiful island of Giannutri and Giglio. Seaside activities available are surfing, kite surfing, snorkelling, fishing. You can walk, mountain bike or explore on horseback the Maremma Natural Park over an area of ​​8,900 hectares. Inside rare species of animals live in the wild. Alternatively, there is also a golf course nearby. 

Several well-known coastal towns nearby are waiting for you to explore them! And heading inland, sweet rolling hills cultivated by vines, olive groves and orchards are leading you to some of the best local producers to taste their fresh local produce of excellent quality. Besides some hilltop medieval villages, you can also explore some ancient towns of Etruscan origins. The area is also rich in natural hot-springs. 

This charming village has wine bars, restaurants, bakery, shops specializing in the sale of local – and organic products, supermarket, pharmacy, newspaper kiosk, post office etc.

The villa is within easy reach (1-2h) of Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Rome for a day trip.
